Website: https://milmit.net Source code: https://github.com/milmit/mesora-wordpress- live-chat Mesora keeps the website chat experience inside WordPress while optionally mirroring conversations to messaging providers so an operator can answer from a phone or desktop messenger. #### Main features * Modern responsive live-chat widget. * Telegram two-way messaging with Forum Topics where available. * Bale two-way bot integration. * Eitaa integration using the configured Eitaa API endpoint. * WhatsApp Business Cloud API operator bridge. * Optional self-hosted Relay for servers that cannot reliably reach an external messaging API. * WooCommerce product/order context when WooCommerce is installed. * Dokan context when Dokan is installed. * WPML/Polylang-ready frontend strings. * Voice notes, images and file attachments with an 8 MB application limit. * Secure signed attachment URLs and private attachment storage. * Quick replies and internal notes. * Visitor blocking and visitor IP display for administrators/operators. * WordPress personal-data exporter and eraser integration. * Configurable retention and optional full data removal on uninstall. * No telemetry sent to MilMit by default. ### External services Mesora itself can work as a local WordPress live chat without connecting a messaging provider. The following integrations are **optional** and only make external requests when the site administrator enables/configures them. #### Telegram Bot API When Telegram is enabled, Mesora sends chat messages and relevant conversation context to Telegram so operators can receive and reply to website conversations. Depending on configuration, this can include visitor name/contact data, page context, IP address shown in the operator card, message text, and secure media links. The default integration targets the EitaaYar API-compatible endpoint used by this plugin. Incoming WhatsApp webhook events are also processed to deliver operator replies back to the website chat. It is **not a MilMit-hosted tracking service**. Mesora generates a small relay package that the site owner installs on a server they control. When enabled, the Relay forwards configured Telegram/WhatsApp traffic between WordPress and the relevant provider. The site owner is responsible for the Relay server, its privacy/security configuration, retention, and applicable provider terms. Mesora does not transmit chat telemetry to milmit.net by default. ### Privacy Mesora can store personal data needed for live chat, including: * Message content and timestamps. * Optional visitor name, phone number and email. * IP address and a privacy-preserving IP fingerprint. * Browser user agent. * Landing page, referrer and optional UTM campaign values. * Conversation status and page context. * Uploaded files and voice notes. This information is stored on the WordPress site. If an optional external messaging integration or Relay is enabled, relevant chat/contact/context information may be sent to the configured service as described above. Mesora registers suggested privacy-policy text through WordPress, and integrates with the WordPress personal-data exporter and eraser for visitors that can be matched by email/account. Upload the `mesora` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the ZIP from ** Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**. 2. Activate **Mesora**. 3. Open **Mesora > Settings** and configure the chat widget. 4. Optional: configure Telegram, Bale, Eitaa or WhatsApp. 5. Optional: configure the self-hosted Relay when your WordPress server cannot reliably reach a provider directly. 6. Review the suggested Mesora text in **Settings > Privacy** and update your site’s privacy policy as appropriate. ## FAQ ### Do I need Telegram, Bale, Eitaa or WhatsApp to use Mesora? No. The website live chat works locally. Messaging integrations are optional. ### Does Mesora send data to MilMit? No telemetry or chat data is sent to milmit.net by default. milmit.net is the developer website. External requests occur only for integrations/configuration the site administrator enables. ### Why does Mesora store an IP address? The IP address/IP fingerprint is used for abuse prevention, visitor blocking and operator context. Site owners should disclose this in their privacy policy and follow applicable privacy law. ### What happens to data when I delete the plugin? By default, uninstall does not silently destroy chat history. If **delete all data on uninstall** is enabled before uninstalling, Mesora removes its database tables/ options and chat attachments it can identify through its attachment table. ### Is WooCommerce required? No. WooCommerce and Dokan integrations activate only when those plugins are available. ### Where can I get support?
